Privacy Policy
We appreciate your interest in our website. Protecting your personal data during the collection, processing, and use in connection with your visit to our website is an important concern for us.
1. Personal Data
Personal data refers to information that can be used to determine your identity. This includes your name, address, mailing address, and telephone number. Information that cannot be linked to your identity (such as the number of users of a website) is not included.
You can generally use our online services without disclosing your identity. When you visit our website or use our services, the device you use to access the site automatically transmits log data (connection data) to our servers. Log data includes the IP address of the device you use to access the website or a service, the type of browser you use, the page you visited before accessing ours, your system configuration, as well as date and time details.
IP addresses are stored only as far as necessary to provide our services. Otherwise, IP addresses are deleted or anonymised. We store your IP address for a maximum of 7 days when visiting our website, for the purpose of detecting and defending against attacks.
If you request information, order e-books, or make other enquiries, we will ask for your name and other personal information. It is your free choice whether or not to enter this data. Your details are stored on specially protected servers in Switzerland. The EU Commission has certified Switzerland as having a data protection level comparable to EU law. Data transfers from the EU to Switzerland are therefore permitted under data protection law. Access to this data is limited to a few authorised persons who are responsible for the technical, commercial, or editorial maintenance of the content and servers.
Where usage or traffic data is required for our services, it will be stored for no longer than six months after the data is collected. Where data is required to comply with existing legal, statutory, or contractual retention obligations (e.g. invoices), it will be stored beyond this period but will be blocked and accessible only to a few authorised persons via passwords.
Right to object to data collection in special cases and to direct marketing (Art. 21 GDPR)
If the data processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. e or f GDPR, you have the right to object at any time, on grounds relating to your particular situation, to the processing of your personal data; this also applies to profiling based on these provisions. The legal basis on which processing is based can be found in this privacy policy.
If you object, we will no longer process your affected personal data unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override your interests, rights, and freedoms, or the processing is for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims (objection pursuant to Art. 21 para. 1 GDPR).
If your personal data is processed for the purpose of direct marketing, you have the right to object at any time to the processing of personal data concerning you for such marketing; this also applies to profiling to the extent it is related to such direct marketing. If you object, your personal data will no longer be used for the purpose of direct marketing (objection pursuant to Art. 21 para. 2 GDPR).
1.1 Right to Restrict Processing
You have the right to request the restriction of processing of your personal data. To do so, you can contact us at any time at the address stated in the imprint.
The right to restrict processing exists in the following cases:
If you contest the accuracy of your personal data stored by us, we usually need time to verify this. For the duration of the verification, you have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If the processing of your personal data was/is unlawful, you may request restriction of data processing instead of deletion.
If we no longer need your personal data, but you need it to exercise, defend, or assert legal claims, you have the right to request restriction of processing instead of deletion.
If you have objected pursuant to Art. 21 para. 1 GDPR, a balance must be struck between your interests and ours. As long as it has not yet been determined whose interests prevail, you have the right to request restriction of the processing of your personal data.
If you have restricted the processing of your personal data, such data – apart from its storage – may only be processed with your consent, or for the establishment, exercise, or defence of legal claims, or for the protection of the rights of another natural or legal person, or for reasons of important public interest of the European Union or of a Member State.
2. Disclosure of Personal Data to Third Parties
We use your personal information only for our own purposes. We will not pass on data to third parties without your express consent. Where we are legally obliged or ordered by a court, we will transmit your data to authorised bodies.

6. CRM (Worldsoft Business Suite) and Newsletter
This website uses the Worldsoft Business Suite (WBS). Provider: Worldsoft AG, Churerstrasse 158, 8808 Pfäffikon, Switzerland. The Worldsoft Business Suite is a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system that allows data to be organised and analysed.
If you transmit your personal data to us via a web form or when placing an order, this data is stored on the servers of Worldsoft AG in Switzerland. The EU Commission has certified that Switzerland offers a level of data protection comparable to EU law. A data transfer from the EU to Switzerland is therefore permitted under data protection law. We will inform you of our privacy policy before transmitting your data. By transmitting your data, you consent to our collecting, processing, and using your personal data within the scope of the statutory provisions.
The purpose of use is determined by the context in which you transmit your data. Your data will be used for the purpose for which it was originally collected. Example: If you order a product from our website, your data will be used to issue and send the invoice and for any related queries.
6.1 Legal Basis
Data processing is carried out on the basis of your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke this consent at any time. The lawfulness of data processing carried out before the revocation remains unaffected.
6.2 Data Analysis by WBS
The WBS allows us to categorise prospects and customers using various categories (so-called tagging). For example, address entries can be categorised by gender, personal preferences (e.g. vegetarian or non-vegetarian), or customer relationship (e.g. customer or potential customer).
6.3 Storage Period
Data you have stored with us will be retained until you revoke your consent. After revocation, your data will be deleted from both our servers and the servers of Worldsoft AG. For more details, please refer to the privacy policy of Worldsoft AG: www.worldsoft.info/5765
6.4 Newsletter Data
With the Worldsoft Business Suite, we can manage and analyse newsletter distribution. The data you enter for the purpose of receiving the newsletter will be stored on the servers of Worldsoft AG. To subscribe to the newsletter offered on our website, we require your email address (or telephone number for SMS) and information that allows us to verify that you are the owner of the email address or telephone number provided and agree to receive the newsletter. Additional data is not collected, or only on a voluntary basis.
We use this data exclusively for sending the requested information and do not pass it on to third parties.
The processing of the data entered in the newsletter subscription form is based solely on your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR). You can revoke your consent to the storage of the data, the email address, and its use for sending the newsletter at any time, e.g. via the "unsubscribe" link in the newsletter.
Data stored for other purposes (e.g. email addresses for the members' area) remain unaffected.
6.5 Data Analysis by WBS
When we send newsletters using WBS, we can determine whether a newsletter was opened and which links were clicked.
WBS also allows us to categorise newsletter recipients (tagging) according to gender, personal preferences, or customer relationship. This enables us to tailor newsletters more effectively to specific target groups.
If you do not want your data to be analysed by WBS, you must unsubscribe from the newsletter. We provide a corresponding link in each newsletter.
7. Google
7.1 Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google uses cookies. The information generated by the cookie about the use of the online offering by users is generally transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA. Google will use this information on our behalf to evaluate the use of our online offering, compile reports on activities, and provide us with further services related to website and internet use. Pseudonymous usage profiles may be created from the processed data.
We use Google Analytics only with IP anonymisation activated. This means the IP address of users is truncated by Google within EU member states or other EEA agreement states before being transmitted to the USA. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. The IP address transmitted by your browser will not be merged with other Google data. You can prevent the storage of cookies by adjusting your browser software settings. You can also prevent Google from collecting and processing the data generated by the cookie by downloading and installing the browser plugin available here: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en
Mobile users can also use an opt-out option for cookie storage: Deactivate Google Analytics.

7.2 Google Tag Manager
This website uses Google Tag Manager, a tool that allows marketers to manage website tags via an interface. The Tag Manager tool itself (which deploys the tags) is a cookie-free domain and does not collect personal data. The tool triggers other tags, which may collect data. Google Tag Manager does not access this data.
8. Social Media with Shariff Module
Typical social media plugins transfer user data to social platforms whenever a page is loaded. This can give social networks information about your browsing behaviour, even if you are not logged in.
